I have this little problem
So yes, I have this little problem. Why am I still up? It's after 2am and I have to be at work at 10am and work a 10 hr shift. This is not a one off situtation. This is a routine, a pattern, an everyday or night thing. I'm crazy and have very little discipline when it comes to going to bed on time, among other things. I need y'all to form a prayer circle around me as I lay prostrate at the altar drenched in oil.
Anywho, let's talk about how I'm in love with The Rachel Maddow, no homo. She is a liberal political commentator on MSNBC and I love her. She's intelligent, witty ,hilarious, knowledgable and entertaining. She really tells it like it is. With this being such political time in America, the show is very informative and I love her viewpoint and her honest, blunt approach and spin. If you guys get a chance check her out M-F at 9pm &11 pm.

What a great year for music!
Since I would be breaking FCC rules & regulations by encouraging you guys to buy the following CD'S on my radio show(www.wknc.org), so I will do it here. What a great year in music.
Solange-Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams-So what if she sounds like Beyonce with strep throat and a nasal infection, her music is awesome AND she has a personality, two things Beyonce lack.Buy it. Fave Songs-"T.O.N.Y"., I decided, "I Told You So". Grade:B
Eric Benet-Love& Life-Yes Eric I have finally forgiven you for what you did to Halle. Thank you for making another masterpiece! This is Eric's best since his debut. Classic.Faves-"The Hunger" & "Chocolate Legs"-Grade:B
Jazmine Sullivan- Fearless-This girl should light some fire under Lauryn Hill's ass. She is pure unadulterated soul. This girl sings from her heart and soul with so much passion, you can feel it with every note.Solid production, engaging lyrics, versatile vocals. Cop That. Faves-"Fear", "Lions,Tigers and Bears", "In Love With Another Man"-Grade:B+
Raphael Saadiq-The Way I See It-Many have tried and failed to capture the true essence of Motown, Hitsville USA, but not Saadiq. Conceptual albums often go astray, but he has the production, vocals and brings a modern yet classic sound with this one.Faves-"Staying In Love", "100 Yard Dash"-Grade:B
Jennifer Hudson-Jennifer Hudson-Honestly, I am slightlly dissapointed with this album, but I've been a fan of Effie since she was on American Idol. I still have nightmares about the 3 Diva's being in the bottom 3. Racism! Plus you have to respect someone who continues to wear a belt despite not having a waistline.Courage! So why am I dissapointed in the album? Well, we still don't know who Jennifer Hudson is musically. This could've been a Rhianna, Ciara,Beyonce album. She needs to find her own voice and stop trying to adapt to what or whoever is hot. I want some SANGIN and music of substance. I still love you tho Jenney from the Block-buster's.Faves-"Pocketbook", "I'm His Only Woman w/Fantasia". Comes out 9/30/08. Grade: C
Janet Jackson-Discipline- The freak of all freaks is back. This album is a straight banger. From beginning to end. This is Janet's best album since the The Velvet Rope in 1997. Janet is the prototype of who these other singers aspire to be(and copy from). This album is very Janet, yet very current. Def Jam F'd up not properly promoting this joint. Buy it then buy a ticket to her concert. She doesn't dissapoint. Faves-"What's Ur Name?","Luv", "Rollercoaster".Grade:A
